So you decided to spend a vacation in the warm Mexico sun. Great! Now it’s time to look up some cheap airfare to Mexico , depending on where you decide to head to. Or you can look at the different fares and then decide where to stay. The majority of well known Mexican destinations are served by direct flights from US, which means the fares are always affordable, although during the high season you need to book in advance to get a decent fare.
Then you need to find a place to stay. In general, Mexico is a cheap destination but reading a Mexico travel guide will serve you well in choosing the right place to stay. Of course, if you want to stay in a high-end resort with spa facilities then you need to dig deeper in your pocket. If you want to visit the cities, you can find decent accommodation in hostels, for prices as low as $15 per night.
You must try the local street food. You might be used to the Mexican food back in the US but let me tell you: it’s not as good as the real food you can enjoy here. Depending on when you arrive in Mexico, you can soak up the sun in Cancun or visit the Mayan ruins near the capital.
